Prasad

Story Consultant

A screenwriter and director based in Detroit, Prasad's produced work includes the theatrical release Ocean of Pearls. Prasad has an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute.He's currently working on his first book, Writing the Ensemble Film for University of Michigan Press. To complement his narrative work, Prasad makes experimental dance films working primarily with Indian Classical dancers.In addition to his work as a filmmaker, instructor and consultant, Prasad has also served as a programmer for the South Asian Film Series at the Michigan Theater and Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.

She specializes in earned media, thought leadership, and narrative strategy, particularly for leaders navigating cultural shifts, bold ideas, and moments of reinvention.She began her career managing Midwest media relations for Starbucks before moving to San Francisco’s technology sector, where she partnered with companies ranging from high-growth startups to global brands including Mint.com, Dell, and Intel — shaping product launches, executive visibility, and business narratives built to withstand scrutiny.A published poet and essayist, Rubenstein holds a BA in English and Spanish Literature from Indiana University. Based in Honolulu, she continues to advise clients at the intersection of storytelling, reputation, and influence.
